Stephen Blauweiss is an independent filmmaker and graphic designer. He is executive producer of ArtScene web-TV, and he is a segment producer for AHA! an arts show about the national arts scene on PBS station WMHT. Mr. Blauweiss' films have screened in the US, Europe and Canada. His film, Math: Adds Up To More Than You Think, aired on PBS. His film Rappin' For Godot, aired on PBS, screened at the LA Comedy Film Festival 2012, London Independent Film Festival 2013, and the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival 2013.
Mr. Blauweiss has been teaching Photoshop since 1992. He is also the director of Hudson Valley Photoshop Training, he has taught at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and has worked as an instructor at Pratt Institute for over a decade. He has also served as principal computer trainer/consultant for art directors and production staff at The New York Times and CBS TV. Since 2001, he has been a member of the Digital Archive Advisory Board for The New York Public Library.
